To use ExpressRoute for Site Recovery replication, you can utilize public peering (deprecated for new creations) or Microsoft peering. Microsoft peering is the recommended routing domain for replication.

ASR uses a replication agent and Microsoft releases regular updates to support newer operating system versions as well as deliver bugfixes. Microsoft recommends maintaining the agent at no more than four versions behind the current release since the upgrade process becomes more involved and disruptive.

* There are two technical aspects towards setting up your disaster recovery architecture:
- Using a deployment mechanism to replicate instances, data, and configurations between primary and standby environments. This type of disaster recovery can be done natively via Azure Site-Recovery via Microsoft Azure partner appliances/services like Veritas or NetApp.
- Developing a solution to divert network/web traffic from the primary site to the standby site. This type of disaster recovery can be achieved via Azure DNS, Azure Traffic Manager(DNS), or third-party global load balancers.

* Anomaly Detector, a new service within Azure Cognitive Services allows you to embed anomaly detection capabilities into your apps to quickly identify problems and help minimize loss and customer impact. Activate the pre-trained AI model through a single API call that ingests time-series data of all types and volumes, selects the best-fitting anomaly detection model for your data to ensure high accuracy, and automatically surfaces incidents as soon as they happen. Customize the service as needed to detect anomalies of any size

How the Big 5 tech giants make their billions -
- Apple generates a staggering 62.8% of its revenue from the iPhone
-  Amazon gets the most from its online stores (52.8%) as well as third-party seller services (18.4%). Amazon Web Services (AWS) is well-known for being Amazon’s most profitable segment, and it counts for 11.0% of revenue
- Microsoft has eight different segments that generate ~5% or more of revenue. The biggest three are “Office products and cloud services” (25.7%), “Server products and cloud services” (23.7%), and Windows (17.7%)
- Despite having a wider umbrella name, ad revenue (via Google, YouTube, Google Maps, Google Ads, etc.) still drives 85% of revenue for Google
- Facebook generates almost all revenue (98.5%) from ads. Despite Facebook being a free service for users, the company generated more revenue per user than Netflix, which charges for its service
