Free Data Visualization tools

There are many ways to visualise data. Here are some popular data visualization tools that are either completely free or offer free versions with limited features -

Tableau Public is a free platform to explore, create and publicly share data visualizations online. Shark Tank India data set and analysis. Tableau Public’s Viz of the Day highlights data visualizations created by members of the Tableau Community. 

Datawrapper is a data visualization tool for everyone who wants to show their data in beautiful charts, maps, and tables. It has a free plan to publish charts, maps, and tables.

FastCharts is a tool from The Financial Times to create simple charts.

Flourish is a data storytelling tool that was launched in 2018. In 2022, Canva acquired Flourish.
Flourish makes it easy to create a mobile-friendly animated bar chart race complete with images. 

Datylon is available both as a web app - Datylon Report Studio and as a plug-in for Adobe Illustrator - Datylon for Illustrator. Datylon Online chart maker is a part of Datylon Report Studio.

TimelineJS is an open-source tool from Northwestern University's Knight Lab that enables anyone to build interactive timelines. 

RAWGraphs is an open source data visualization framework. It was conceived as tool to produce semifinished visualizations and it provides tidy and open vector files that can be easily edited in any vector graphics editor.

Orange is an open source visual programming tool for data analysis and visualization.
