* AlloyDB is an object-relational database. It is a fully-managed database system that is a fork from PostgreSQL created by Google Cloud.
* AlloyDB Omni is a downloadable database software package that lets you deploy a streamlined edition of AlloyDB for PostgreSQL in your own computing environment. The portability of AlloyDB Omni lets it run in a wide variety of environments, including the following: Data centers. Laptops. Cloud-based VM instances. AlloyDB Omni does not include AlloyDB features that rely on operation within Google Cloud.
* AlloyDB provides a function that lets you translate text into a vector embedding. You can then store that embedding in your database as vector data, and optionally use pgvector functions to base queries on it.
* AlloyDB AI is a suite of features included with AlloyDB for PostgreSQL that let you apply the semantic and predictive power of machine learning (ML) models to your data.
* A 13-billion-parameter model Hindi Large Language Model called NANDA will soon be launched by Abu Dhabi’s G42.
* Runway offers AI tools including a generative video service. It is free to try without a credit card.
* Flickr allows hotlinking provided you link back to Flickr - As per its Terms of Use, whenever you place an image you're storing on Flickr on an external web site, you must also include a link back to Flickr.
* LinkedIn is now using everyone's content to train their AI tool - they just auto opted everyone in. Opt out steps: Settings and Privacy > Data Privacy > Data for Generative AI Improvement > Use my data for training content creation AI models - Off
* Market leader PhonePe has around 48 percent share, Google Pay around 37 percent and Paytm is a distant third at 7 percent. Cred, which is in the fourth spot, accounts for over a percent of the UPI transactions. Sachin Bansal’s fintech Navi with a 0.6% market share has overtaken Amazon Pay (0.5% share) to emerge as the country’s fifth-largest UPI player.
