* The Twitter Revenue Data Platform engineering team migrated their on-prem architecture to Google Cloud. The revenue for Twitter comes from 2 main categories - Ads & Data licensing and other services. The 2019 revenue was $3.46 billion, which is an increase of 14% year-over-year.
* The first-generation Nexus 7 is a mini tablet computer co-developed by Google and Asus that came with Android Jelly Bean
* Some Android models come with a built-in IR blaster, and with the right app, you can use your phone or tablet control your TV
* According to data released by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India show non-life insurance penetration in the country is 0.9 percent.

* Microsoft has had grammar and spelling correction in Word and other Office apps for the longest, but Microsoft Editor will be taking things a little further by offering AI-powered writing suggestions. More importantly, it will be available on apps outside the Office repertoire as an extension on Chrome and the new Edge browser. Microsoft Editor which is the company’s answer to Grammarly.
* Cartoons have many strengths: they are quick to make and publish, easily consumed and shareable. In times of crisis, the best cartoonists offer a moment of levity or encourage solidarity rather than sowing division - Economist
* In 1894 southern China was beset by an outbreak of bubonic plague; six years later, it had reached every continent via international shipping routes. Bubonic plague is one of three types of plague caused by bacterium Yersinia pestis that infects the lymphatic system. It is transmitted by Oriental rat flea (Xenopsylla cheopis) infected with the Yersinia pestis bacterium

* Alexander III of Macedon, commonly known as Alexander the Great, succeeded his father Philip II to the throne at the age of 20 and in 13 short years amassed the largest empire in the entire ancient world — an empire that covered 3,000 miles. He died at 33.
* Odisha is the first state formed on the basis of language on 1st April 1936. Undivided Cuttack, Puri and Balasore were part of Bengal since 1803. Undivided Ganjam and Koraput were a part of Madras. Sambalpur was with Central Provinces.
* Post-independence, the first state to be created on a linguistic basis was Andhra State in 1953 with Kurnool as its capital. It was carved out from Madras Presidency. Three years later, the Telugu-speaking areas in the erstwhile Hyderabad State were merged with it following a Gentleman’s Agreement and Andhra Pradesh was formed on November 1, 1956. The State capital was shifted from Kurnool to Hyderabad.
