* Google's hybrid cloud platform Anthos will let you manage workloads running on third-party clouds like AWS and Azure. Anthos is a service based on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). AWS Outposts & Azure Stack are the other hybrid cloud options.

* Vasco da Gama, a Portuguese explorer was the first European to reach India by sea in 1498. Da Gama's discovery of the sea route to India was significant and opened the way for an age of global imperialism and for the Portuguese to establish a long-lasting colonial empire in Asia. Unopposed access to the Indian spice routes boosted the economy of the Portuguese Empire, which was previously based along northern and coastal West Africa. It was not until a century later that other European powers, namely the Dutch Republic and England, followed by France and Denmark, were able to challenge Portugal's monopoly and naval supremacy in the Cape Route. For his contributions, da Gama was appointed Governor of India, with the title of Viceroy in 1524.
* Brig. Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh Bahadur MVC was the last titular Maharaja of Jaipur. Bhawani Singh as an acting lieutenant-colonel commanded Para Commandos of the 10th Parachute Regiment in the 1971 war against Pakistan and was responsible for the capture of Chachro in Sindh, for which he was decorated with the Maha Vir Chakra (MVC). The President of India bestowed upon him the honorary rank of Brigadier in 1991, a rare honour where an army personnel has been given a promotion in rank after retirement.

Halva was adopted and expanded by the Ottoman Turks, including a sesame-based version, and spread throughout their empire.
