* Layoutit grid is an open-source CSS Grid layout generator. It aids in designing web pages layouts by providing CSS grid code as markup.
* While you can manage a few containers manually using Docker and Windows, apps often make use of five, ten, or even hundreds of containers, which is where orchestrators come in. Orchestrators help you grow containerized apps at scale, providing functionality for:
- Deploying at scale
- Workload scheduling
- Health monitoring
- Failing over when a node fails
- Scaling up or down
- Networking

- Coordinating app upgrades

* Application Proxy is a feature of Azure AD that enables users to access on-premises web applications from a remote client. Application Proxy includes both the Application Proxy service which runs in the cloud, and the Application Proxy connector which runs on an on-premises server. Like most Azure AD hybrid agents, the Application Proxy Connector doesn't require you to open inbound connections through your firewall.
* Azure Arc enables you to manage, govern, and secure servers across on-premises, multiple cloud, and edge scenarios.
* Azure Virtual WAN is a networking service that brings many networking, security, and routing functionalities together to provide a single operational interface. The Virtual WAN architecture is a hub and spoke architecture with scale and performance built in for branches (VPN/SD-WAN devices), users (Azure VPN/OpenVPN/IKEv2 clients), ExpressRoute circuits, and virtual networks.
* Using a templatized process to containerize apps running on servers, the Azure Migrate App Containerization tool makes it easy to containerize, test and migrate your existing applications to Azure Kubernetes Service. Using the discovered information and inputs from the previous step, the tool generates a suggested Dockerfile that can be used to build the container image for the application. With the container image built, the tool generates the Kubernetes resource definitions specification file to deploy the apps to your Azure Kubernetes Service cluster.
* PolyBase enables your SQL Server instance to query data with T-SQL directly from SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, MongoDB, Hadoop clusters, Cosmos DB without separately installing client connection software. You can also use the generic ODBC connector to connect to additional providers using third-party ODBC drivers. PolyBase allows T-SQL queries to join the data from external sources to relational tables in an instance of SQL Server. A key use case for data virtualization with the PolyBase feature is to allow the data to stay in its original location and format. You can virtualize the external data through the SQL Server instance, so that it can be queried in place like any other table in SQL Server. This process minimizes the need for ETL processes for data movement.
* Deploying an SAP system as a manual process can quickly become costly due to divergence in resources and configuration, or discrepancies introduced through human error. To reduce this impact, improve consistency, and reduce lead times, Microsoft is approaching the SAP deployment as an opportunity to define the SAP Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and capture the configuration activities as Configuration as Code (CaC). SAP on Azure Deployment Automation Framework is an extensible framework that will modularly address the complexities of running SAP on Azure.
