* Vega-Altair is a declarative visualization library for Python. Isotype Visualization shows the distribution of animals across UK and US, using unicode emoji marks rather than custom SVG paths.
* Pandas AI is a Python library that uses generative AI models to supercharge pandas capabilities. It was created to complement the pandas library, a widely-used tool for data analysis and manipulation. It can be used to summarize pandas data frames data by using natural language, plot complex visualization, manipulate dataframes, and generate business insights.
* Generative AI mirrors the levels of professionalism, clarity, and detail in the prompts you provide.
* Otter.ai aids in transcription by generating meeting summary & notes in real time
* OpenAI's Whisper is a general-purpose speech recognition model. It is trained on a large dataset of diverse audio and is also a multitasking model that can perform multilingual speech recognition, speech translation, and language identification.
* Azure OpenAI Service provides access to OpenAI's powerful large language models such as ChatGPT, GPT, Codex, and Embeddings models. The Learning Path for Exam AI-102: Designing and Implementing a Microsoft Azure AI Solution related to Azure OpenAI Service has 7 modules that can take about 6 hours to finish. There is also a free practice assessment.
* An example of how a coffee shop uses AI to track the productivity of baristas and how much time customers are spending in the shop
* A black and white image could be represented with one bit per pixel, while a typical image with color has twenty-four bits per pixel (see GIF below). Quantization, in essence, lessens the number of bits needed to represent information. Most people interact with generative models through APIs, where the computational heavy lifting happens on servers with flexible resources. That’s because these models put a heavy strain on hardware. One effective way to reduce this computational demand is to increase power efficiency through quantization. Quantization is an umbrella term that covers a lot of different techniques, but what it boils down to is a process that allows you to convert continuous infinite input values from a large set to discrete finite output values in a smaller set.
* Azure Open Source Labs is a collection of labs to help build Open Source & Cloud Native applications with Azure, Microsoft, GitHub, and open source developer tools, platforms, and projects.
* Apache Kafka was built and open sourced at LinkedIn in 2011. The team behind the creation of Kafka formed a LinkedIn spin-out company in 2014 named Confluent, which went public with an IPO in 2021
* Hemingway app is a text editor that helps you write better in an unobtrusive way. Hemingway colors problematic parts of your text as you type it.
* Tattle builds tools and datasets to understand and respond to inaccurate and harmful content.
* Reid Hoffman co-founded LinkedIn in December 2002. Peter Thiel, a colleague of Hoffman's at PayPal, invested in LinkedIn. LinkedIn started its India operations in 2009. At the time of LinkedIn's IPO in 2011, Hoffman owned a stake worth an estimated $2.34 billion. In 2016, Microsoft acquired LinkedIn for $26 billion - its second largest acquisition to date. In 2022, LinkedIn earned $13.8 billion in revenue, compared to $10.3 billion in 2021. As of March 2023, LinkedIn has more than 900 million registered members from over 200 countries and territories. Hoffman was a founding investor in the artificial intelligence research company OpenAI.
* Truecaller is a Swedish company founded in 2009 in Stockholm, Sweden by Nami Zarringhalam and Alan Mamedi. The Truecaller caller identification app has 250 million active users in India. TrueCaller uploads users' stored contacts to their servers to form a database of phone numbers. This breaches the privacy rights of the people whose private numbers are publicly matched to their names without their knowledge and without their permission. In 2019, in a nightmare for thousands of Truecaller users in India, a so-called bug automatically created their Unified Payments Interface (UPI) accounts with the ICICI Bank without their consent, triggering panic and hacking fears. In 2020, the Indian Army asked its personnel to delete 89 apps including Truecaller over national security concerns.
* Career coach Pamela Green describes a personal brand as the "emotional experience you want people to have as a result of interacting with you".
* BRICS economies have overtaken the G7 in purchasing power parity terms.
* Praggnanandhaa's father introduced his children, daughter Vaishali and son Praggnanandhaa to chess to cut down on their TV viewing habits when they were young. Praggnanandhaa's elder sister is a Woman Grandmaster.
* Omega Fatty Acids are present in vegetarian food sources too. The ingredients of Dr.Morepen VEG-OMEGA are Flax Seed, Black Seed & Sea Buckthorn.
* Istrac - Isro’s satellite and launch vehicle tracking and command centre in Peenya, Bangalore, is where all space assets are controlled from. It is essentially the Indian equivalent of NASA's “Houston.”
* States with the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) highest include Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Karnataka. Telangana ranks ninth. Many states continue to observe substantial revenue deficit. Telangana was the only State in the country to have waived farmers' loans twice. The contribution of the Agriculture sector to Telangana’s GSDP is 18%.
